In order to monitor student growth and to help make decisions regarding our instructional practices, students are engaged in a variety of assessments throughout the school 2015-16 school year.

Welcoming Schools (Asset Development)

The 40 Developmental Assets were designed to be building blocks to healthy development that help young people grow up healthy, caring, and responsible. The staff at GV has agreed to focus on three goals for the 2015-2016 school year.

These our our following goals:

1.  Strive in creating a caring school climate

2.  Encourage high expectations for the students

3.  Strengthen the bond between the students and their school.

The following survey data was taken in March by parents and students alike.  Glacier View will be offering this up as important data for us to celebrate and improve upon.

Below are the results from the Spring 2015 SBA, 8th Gr. Science MSP, and Fall STAR Reading and Math assessments our 7th and 8th graders take multiple times throughout the year. These assessments measure a student's overall understanding of grade level expectations.
