Grade 7 Pacific Northwest Studies: Social Studies

Pacific Northwest Studies is a year long, integrated course focused on Washington State. It is linked through content, theme and skill development with the language arts curriculum. Students will study the Pacific Northwest through the geography, history, culture, economic, and political systems of the region. In addition, students will study Washington state trade, trade partners, and the importance of technology to the region. When students pass second semester of this course they fulfill the Washington State history and government graduation requirement.
